DVCon 2008

I'll be adding general information about DVCon 2008 on this page over the next few days.  If you can think of anything that needs to be added let me know!

The conference schedule as posted on the DVCon website is a bit of a pain to use if you're trying to plan out your time efficiently.  I've put together some additional options which should make things more convenient:

• Subscribe via .
• View the complete schedule in your browser.
• Subscribe via iCal.

To use the iCal version in Outlook 2007, do the following:

• Click on the iCal link.
• IE/Firefox will ask what to do.  Click "Open".
• The "DVCon 2008" calendar will appear in Outlook 2007 side-by-side with your personal calendar. 
• Drag and drop events you'd like to attend from the DVCon calendar to your personal calendar to block off the time and make it possible to sync the events with your Windows Mobile or Blackberry device.

NOTE: This will not work in Outlook 2003 or earlier editions without 3rd party software.

I prepared PDF printouts in list and calendar form from iCal and Google Calendar respectively. I'll email them to you so you can share with everyone. Both should be in the inferior US Letter format ;-)

FYI... I did finally figure out how to get the schedule in an eBook format suitable for my Kindle. Problem is, it was a bit of a pain and it could use some work before the formatting is good enough that I'd post it. Again, if anyone really is itching for the schedule in eBook format (with a nice TOC) let me know.
